Indigenous peoples protect nature through their traditional ways of living. Their practices in farming, weaving, and caring for the land show respect for the environment. These traditions help keep forests, rivers, and mountains safe. By learning from them, we can support sustainable development that does not harm nature.
However, many indigenous communities still face problems such as discrimination and loss of ancestral lands. Celebrating IP Month helps raise awareness and encourages respect for their rights and culture. When we support indigenous peoples, we help build a future that values equality, culture, and sustainability for everyone.
